The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a lovely seating area, dining area, and a kitchen complete with an oven and a microwave. It felt like a home away from home.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, with spacious rooms and stunning decorations. It exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. the location was also fantastic, conveniently close to the main attractions in the area. One key advantage was the warm and welcoming owner, who went above and beyond to provide us with helpful tips and contact numbers. This personalized touch made our stay even more enjoyable. the cottage offered great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
Honestly, there was nothing negative about my experience at the cottage. Everything was perfect, from the immaculate condition to the helpfulness of the owner.

The host was very friendly and helpful, providing ice cubes, a bottle of wine, and fresh milk upon arrival. the cottage had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. the location was great, not far from the main city and served as a great base for exploring the area.
The cottage was a bit misleading as it was only a one-bedroom. the kids had to sleep on a murphy bed in the living room, which wasn't ideal.

On the positive side, the interior of the cottage was quite nice. It had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and a comfortable bedroom. This made our rainy afternoons more enjoyable, especially with our young daughter. Additionally, the hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with information on places to eat and visit in the area. The key location facts shared by the hosts were also useful in helping us navigate the surroundings and find what we needed.
The first thing that struck us was the lack of festive cheer outside the cottage. The surrounding area was in disarray, with tractors and baggers working, giving off a rather unpleasant first impression.

Our recent stay at Birchwood Cottage was absolutely superb! The cottage itself is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures. The interior is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making our stay comfortable and convenient. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail in the furniture selection. Additionally, the owners, Fiona and David, were incredibly warm and hospitable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay, even offering us a ride into the city. The balcony upstairs provided a perfect spot for relaxation after putting our kids to bed. Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the cottage being a one-bedroom and the location being a bit remote, these were outweighed by the overall positive experience. We highly recommend Birchwood Cottage for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
